FatMax Pro-Stack is Stanley’s stacking tool box system, sold alongside Stanley’s FatMax TSTAK boxes. Stanley sells it in Europe as deep and shallow boxes, drawer units, a 10-cup organizer, a trolley and a five-module tower. Stanley says Pro-Stack and its own TSTAK pieces “are interchangeable and can be used with one another as part of a universal storage system”.

In the US

Stanley’s US site no longer has a Pro-Stack page: the old address opens the general storage page (checked October 1, 2026). Pieces still show up from importers and resellers, but Modular Toolbox only lists systems sold new in the US through normal retail, so Pro-Stack isn’t in the catalogue.

Does it fit DeWalt TSTAK?

DeWalt TSTAK and Stanley TSTAK come from the same company, Stanley Black & Decker. Whether Pro-Stack latches onto DeWalt’s version is where sources disagree: some write-ups say it won’t latch securely, but none we found tested it, and neither Stanley nor DeWalt says. Until someone does, we don’t list the pair.

The US systems built on the same idea

If you’re in the US and want a TSTAK-style system, DeWalt TSTAK and Craftsman VERSASTACK are sold new and lock onto each other directly. TSTAK also reaches DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0 through DeWalt’s DWST08017 adaptor.

Questions

Is Stanley FatMax Pro-Stack sold in the US?

Does Pro-Stack stack with DeWalt TSTAK or Craftsman VERSASTACK?

Stanley doesn't say, and the claims online contradict each other. Some write-ups say they won't latch securely, but none we found tested it. We don't list the pair until a source states it.

What's the US equivalent?

DeWalt TSTAK and Craftsman VERSASTACK are the TSTAK-style systems sold new in the US, and they lock onto each other directly.
